Tweeted this out late last night
“4 days of basketball, 4 days of disgusting eating behaviors, 3 days of heavy drinking, 1 March Madness weekend.” I try not to agree with the Twitter bandwagon nerds who see a tweet by a perceived cool Twitter uses and then the rest of the bandwagon nerds jump on the train so they collect Twitter street cred points within the bandwagon community. But this time I can’t disagree. That was a all-time opening weekend to the NCAA tournament. At this point I can’t even remember what night Northern Iowa won on a half-court bank shot. I know it was late and I was drunk. The bad news here for college basketball is that this once again shows that the casual fan has no business watching the regular season. All you have to do is watch the tournament and you’re good.
