Like most of the country, my NCAA Tournament bracket is officially toast with Michigan State falling to Middle Tennessee State University.
Unbelievably, the Spartans never held a lead in the game, and surrendered a gaudy 90 points to the No. 15 seed. But on the plus side, they did cover their bases in one area of defense: floor slapping.

The “Tom Izzo knows March” hype train was fun while it lasted.
The Michigan State floor slaps: they're not working. Spartans have given up 77 points in 37 minutes.
