Remember those rumors about Lane Kiffin and Kristen Saban that took over Twitter for a day after Alabama lost to Ole Miss back in Septemeber? Well, that just got a little more interesting. I’m not saying those rumors are true in the slightest, but Bruce Feldman just reported that Lane and Layla Kiffin are splitting up after being married since 2004.
From Fox Sports:
“After a lot of careful thought and consideration, Layla and I have mutually decided to divorce,” Lane Kiffin said. “We are fully committed to our kids’ future being our No. 1 priority. We will maintain an amicable relationship with respect for each other as we raise these three wonderful children. We will have no further comments and appreciate respect for our family’s privacy.”
He’s coming off a National Championship, will probably be looking for a new job in the near future, and now Lane’s back on the market. The Bama sorority girls are going to be lining up. I can’t wait for the internet rumors that are going to be coming out of this in the next few days.
Not only is Lane on the market, don’t forget about Layla.
