Go Inside Will Muschamp's New South Carolina Lake House

Will Muschamp has a new house to go with his new job as the South Carolina head football coach and fans are going to have a hard time yelling at the coach if things don’t rebound fast for the Cocks. That’s because Muschamp has literally bought an island on Lake Murray to live on and there are two residences for him to choose from – the main house that’s supposed to resemble a ship and a guest house for visitors.
The cost: $1.85 million, according to tax records dug up by The State.
There’s a causeway that connects the mainland to Muschamp’s new compound that features a 5-bedroom, 5.2 bathroom main residence. The guest house is not too shabby at 2,600 sq. ft. It’ll be the perfect spot for athletes to sleep when Will throws wild bashes and wants to keep an eye on his players.
The main house is 9,400 sq. ft. and includes 6,700 sq. ft. of porches and decking. Look, if you’re trying to rebuild the South Carolina football program and need to impress players, this is the place. They’ll think this is heaven.
Will received a five-year, $16 million contract in December.

Other tidbits from Will’s new getaway:

• Just 17 miles from the Cocks football stadium
• 8.3 to Whole Foods
• 1.74 acres for the new landscapers to maintain
• Only 3 garage spaces…might have to add-on
