Top NFL Free Agents 2016: Running Backs

The 2016 NFL running back free agent class includes names like Matt Forte, Reggie Bush, Chris Ivory and Alfred Morris. The big question for your team is: are we desperate enough to reach for any of these running backs? Tampa Bay’s Doug Martin is the highest rated running back on NFL.com’s list of all position free agents available in 2016.  He’s at No. 10 after a 1,400 yard season and 16 games started.
From there you drop to No. 16 with Matt Forte, a 30 year old with 120 career starts on his legs. Chris Ivory, who turns 28 in March, might be the one to keep an eye on. He just finished up a 1,000 yard season for the Jets and his catches were up to 30 from 17 in 2014.

The 2016 NFL free agency period starts at 4 p.m. on March 9.
