Unless it’s March and office brackets need to be filled out, I really could not care less about college basketball. There are just so many things about the game that make it an inferior product to the NBA: the shot clock, infuriating charge calls, one-and-one free throws, end-of-game timeout duels, etc., etc.
But the game does have one shining light from the Pac 12: Grateful Dead groupie Bill Walton. I don’t want to hear about college ball, and Bill does everything in his power to make he talks about anything else. It’s perfect.
