Mike & Marketing discuss Peyton’s arm strength from 50 to 60 yards out
Now, it’s no secret that Manning’s arm is shot this time of year. The wind makes his spirals wobble. He’s good from about 5-10 yards. Far hash to a sideline is impossible. I get that. Then I turn on Mike & Mike this morning and hear them having a discussion on Peyton just not being able to throw the 50 to 60 yard pass anymore. Uh, OK. And how many NFL QBs complete those passes – or even attempt them – with a high percentage? Tom Brady completed 12 passes of 40+ yards this season. Manning completed 7. Matthew Stafford…with the cannon…completed 8. Cam Newton…with a huge arm…completed 10 40+ passes. I’m no football expert, but I don’t see many teams running 50 to 60 yard routes. Again, maybe I was drunk and missed those games. I’ll have to grab the Mike & Marketing audio later today so you guys can hear this nonsense.
