With Andy Dalton officially out for tomorrow’s Wild Card game against the Steelers, we’d imagine Bengals fans aren’t that antsy to get their hands on tickets. But if you are one of those die hards willing to shell out money for A.J. McCarron, the BC office is advising you to be careful on your ticket search.
On Monday, undercover police caught the scumbag above, Mario Reip, after he attempted to sell them counterfeit tickets.
According to Cincinnati.com, Mario listed the tickets on Craigslist and was looking to land $500:
Mario Reip, 36, listed on Craigslist two fake Bengals tickets to Saturday’s Wild Card playoff game at against the Pittsburgh Steelers at Paul Brown Stadium, police stated in court records.
The tickets, which Reip attempted to sell for $500 total, had logos and characteristics consistent with actual Bengals tickets, police wrote in a criminal complaint filed in Hamilton County Municipal Court.
Mario is now facing two counterfeit charges and has bail set at $200,000.
Personally, we think it should be higher for trying to rip off poor Bengals fans that are already expecting a loss.
