It’s finally Friday and I need a vacation
The [email protected] account goes in spurts. It’ll be quiet for four months and then, for a week, it’ll be insanity. It happened again last night. I had some guy sorta trying to sell snaps of some NFL player – allegedly – smoking weed in another player’s shirtsey. Wednesday night it was some guy trying to sell gas station surveillance video. I’ve spent the past seven days or so in email negotiations well after midnight. Damn right I need a vacation. The Tuesday after the Super Bowl can’t get here fast enough. My ass isn’t working. I’m not looking at email. I’m not answering texts. Nothing. You crazy bastards can deal with James The Assistant. I can see the finish line fully knowing the next four weeks are going to be pure madness.
