If there’s three things we know Bill Walton loves it’s weed, basketball, and The Grateful Dead, in some order. Walton says he’s been to over 850 Grateful Dead shows in his life, so I might be willing to put them #1. I don’t think anyone on this planet loves them more than Bill.
We documented Walton’s appearance at the Dead’s farewell tour back in the summer and he was back again on New Year’s Eve ringing in 2016 at the LA Forum dressed as Father Time and wielding a light saber on stage.
