Basketball nerds will remember Pacers center Rik Smiths for his NBA Finals run with Reggie Miller 15 years ago, but not us. The Dunking Dutchman, who played 12 years in the NBA, was much more than that — he also had this baller mustache:

And randomly revealed a couple years ago that he loves dirt bikes despite being a gargantuan 7’4″ human being. That’s just how it goes when you rake in $44 million playing basketball for 12 years — you rediscover your old passions with ease.
With Rik firmly in the bike game, we guess it makes sense that his old Chevy truck has popped up on eBay with a gaudy, customized look.
Details from the seller:
This truck was purchased from Ed Smith Chevrolet in Port Jervis, New York and had all the custom work done to it immediately. The work done is amazing, the wipers work, the heater works, the windows roll up and down, the lights work ( interior too ), Steel Braided lines, 4 Wheel Disc Brakes, etc…. I can go on and on about how nice it is and how well the original integrity was left intact It is basically a new truck, I have the window sticker, all manuals and Emergency Key from the Dealer. The speedo is not hooked up but says 8 miles. All the doors, tailgate, etc… open and shut like a new truck. I bought the truck from Rik Smits ( Retired NBA – Indiana Pacers ) a month ago. It is crazy fast and lots of fun to drive, but I am going to jail in it if I don’t get rid of it. I have insured it and been driving it for about a month and have had a blast with it.
Love the honesty from the guy who bought the truck from Rik. Do you know how much self control and awareness you have to possess to soup up a car and realize the only place it will get you is jail? A lot of money down the drain, but he realized it was a bad idea. Kudos to him.
