We have horrible news for all the golfers who get their lessons from Paige Spiranac’s Instagram page: she’s officially on social media hiatus.
Yes, Paige is a little down in the dumps these days after getting cut at the Dubai Ladies Masters (her pro debut) Wednesday.

The former SDSU golfer turned Instagram star turned in rounds of 77 and 79, and missed the cut by eight shots.
She told TheNational.ae that a “bar of soap could have probably played better” before dropping the social media bomb:
“I was invited here and wanted to prove it was for reasons other than just my social media.”
“I’m definitely not going to look at my phone for a while, probably take a break from social media to step away and re-evaluate everything,” she said, as she tried to lighten the mood a little. “At the moment, the clubs are going in the water.
“I learned a lot this week and I grew a lot as a person. But I’ll go back home and re-evaluate everything and see if golf is still in my future or not.”
That pretty much tells you everything you need to know about how hard Paige is taking this. The Instagram stuff is pretty much an easy money-making career (that has led to ventures with Callaway), but now everything is in limbo.
