Ohio State’s Adolphus Washington has put on a show in his final season wearing the scarlet and gray, recording 49 tackles and four sacks en route to a CBS All-America Team nod.
However, his situation at Ohio State has gotten a little dicey after pulling a Warren Sapp and getting cited for solicitation.
Details from My Fox 28 Columbus:
Ohio State university officials confirm that defensive lineman Adolphus Washington was cited Wednesday evening by City of Columbus police with a first-degree misdemeanor charge of solicitation.
Spokesperson Jerry Emig said Washington is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 17.
“Disciplinary action will be handled internally,” Emig said.
Suffice it to say, Adolphus’ Fiesta Bowl status is up in the air at the moment.
