Brett Lawrie Jacked Up About His 64-Inch Box Jump

It’s the MLB offseason, so the only things going on right now are lopsided trades, monster free agent contracts and workout videos — specifically, box jumps.
This week alone we’ve seen Bryce Harper nail a 55-inch jump, and Steven Souza Jr. one-up that with an impressive 58-inch leap.


You would assume the only guys in The Show who would be able to top those gaudy numbers are superhumans Mike Trout and Giancarlo Stanton, but it looks like our favorite base-brah, Brett Lawrie, has something to say about that.
He took to Instagram today to measure out his 64-inch jump:

And then promptly freak the hell out after completing this amazing feat:

I guess you can see why the White Sox badly want this guy (or why Billy Beane wants to ship him out).
But box jumps aren’t the only thing Lawrie is killing this offseason.
He also wall runs like a champ:
