To say Australian golfer Steven Bowditch had a rough first round at the Australian Masters Thursday would be an understatement.
He shot a first-round 77, and if that wasn’t bad enough, he also pegged a spectator right in the face with drive on Hole 11. As you can see below, the fan crumbled to his knees with an apparent broken nose:

Honestly, it could have been worse for broken nose guy — he could’ve put down money on Bowditch to win the tournament like this poor fella:
