Homer Hawks Announcer Really Wanted This 8-Second Violation

The Atlanta Hawks fell behind the Minnesota Timberwolves by 34 points at one point Monday night, but that didn’t stop them from plugging away and making a game of it.

In fact, they cut the lead all the way down to four with less than two minutes remaining, and came super close to potentially making it a one-possession game… if they had just gotten this eight-second violation call:
