The Larry O’Brien Trophy was undoubtedly showered with kisses and hugs from every Golden State Warriors player on June 16, but it sounds like owner Joe Lacob took things next level with his fiancée, Nicole Curran.
Upon winning the title, Lacob had one thing on his mind: getting that trophy in bed.
The deets you don’t want to know from a recent interview with Haute Living:
“I had made a promise to myself [that] I would sleep with the trophy that night,” reveals Lacob, which rhymes with Jacob. “Nicole [Curran, his longtime fiancée] and I did sleep with it.”
On one hand, we want to ask more questions; on the other, we don’t really want to know any more than he’s already shared. (Not that this animated hoops nut is going to tell us anyway.)
“I’ll leave it to the imagination,” he says, grinning. “We had a lot of fun with it.”
Judging from what we’ve seen from Steph Curry this year, Joe, Nicole and Larry might just have a four way in their future — though the players might keep a second Larry hostage after reading about what went down.
