Things are about to officially get weird on Twitter, according to the NSFWBDs. Twitter suddenly switched the star “Favorite” button to a heart this morning and all hell broke loose within the BD community. They have major concerns over hearting a fellow BDs tweet and they’re also concerned that hearting a tweet could lead to major confrontation with their main pieces.
One heart to a side piece and it could lead to major trouble with a main. This wasn’t the case with a star click. You could play that off like it was a bookmark. Not with the heart button. It’s much more personal and BDs see the writing on the wall.
It shouldn’t come as a shock that Twitter would shake things up. The Atlantic crushed the company on Monday with “The Decay of Twitter.” The stock has been in a steady decline since April. User numbers are down. Add it all up and the powers thought it would be wise to use a heart button like we’re on Instagram.
BDs aren’t pleased to say the least.
