With the Chicago Bears’ season already a lost cause, a scumbag in Valparaiso obviously had to change things up and don his go-to Chicago Bulls hoodie to rob a Dollar General Store. Because, you know, nothing says discreet like a bright red article of clothing with a bull on it.
Police were called at 9:05 p.m. to the store, at 1805 Lincolnway, and learned a man had entered the store, displayed a handgun and demanded money, said Sgt. Mike Grennes, the department’s public information officer.
He obtained an undetermined amount of money and fled the store on foot, Grennes said.
The suspect is described as a taller white male, wearing a white baseball cap and a red hoodie with a Chicago Bulls logo on the front. He was wearing wire glasses and black pants.
