This past offseason for the San Antonio Spurs was all about keeping Kawhi Leonard and landing LaMarcus Aldridge — obviously they did both. Unfortunately, with all that money being tossed around someone had to go, and one of those players was Tiago Splitter, who was shipped over to Atlanta.
But don’t feel too bad for Tiago — he’s racked up over $30 million in his career, is on the hook for $8.5 million this season and has already won a championship. Basically it’s all gravy from here.
