On Thursday, Mets flamethrower Noah Syndergaard told the media he had some “tricks up his sleeve” for the free-swinging Alcides Escobar.
Syndergaard didn’t wait long to unveil one of them tonight, as he unloaded high, 98-mph cheese at Escobar on the very first pitch of the game:

Shockingly, this didn’t sit too well with the Royals — specifically, Mike Moustakas, who unloaded a nice F-bomb:

Unfortunately for Syndergaard, Escobar one-upped his “tricks” in his second at-bat with a single and stolen base.
