Here we go with the anti-Urban Meyer crowd going after the Ohio State coach…again…for one line from an interview last night on Bill O’Reilly’s show. Keep in mind that the anti-Urban Meyer crowd has been trying to destroy the guy since he left Florida, took a year off and then took his dream job at Ohio State. They claim he faked a heart attack so he could leave Florida because the Gators were headed for disaster after Tebow left. You know the talking points.
So the Antichrist goes on O’Reilly to talk about his new book and answer a few questions. The one question that’s driving the anti-Urban Meyer fanatics nuts is this:
O’Reilly: “Look at Jameis Winston down in Florida State. He steals some crab legs or something. But the guy’s a brilliant quarterback so they let it go down there. I don’t think you would have let it go, right?
Urban: “It would have been hard to let that go.”
O’Reilly: “Alright, so you would have gotten rid of him.”
Urban: [silence]
O’Reilly goes on to ask Antichrist why Urban is so special compared to the other big coaches.
Urban: “Well, we’ve had our issues the past few years. When I was at Florida we had some issues. We’ve had some issues at Ohio State. Had a star tailback get into trouble a couple years ago.”
So the anti-Urban crowd is pissed that Antichrist didn’t correct or confirm the O’Reilly statement about getting rid of Winston. Let’s not forget how FSU handled the stolen crab legs. Jimbo let the incident go through the school and the baseball team. Winston wasn’t disciplined on the football side. The FSU baseball coach reinstated Winston after serving 20 hours of community service.
So Jimbo did nothing, according to his public statements, regarding a guy walking into a Publix and taking crab legs. Those are the facts.
Urban says it would’ve been hard to let that go. That’s the only thing he said. Spin it how you want.

Do better, ISIS supreme leader
You need to watch the interview. Urban definitely implies he would have kicked Jameis off his team. Incredible: https://t.co/wxq5eJz04R

Nope, didn’t say he’d boot Jameis
Urban Meyer had at least 31 players get arrested while at UF. But he'd kick Jameis off for getting a citation for stealing crab legs 🙄🐸☕️
