What a day for the Detroit Lions. Matthew Stafford is now 0-5 since getting married during the offseason, he was yanked in the 3rd quarter after throwing three interceptions and the team was routed 42-17. The running game generated 57 yards. Calvin Johnson had five catches for 67 yards and fantasy owners are losing their minds. The offense also managed to lose two fumbles.

How bad are things right now in Detroit? They entered the 2015 season with the third most “dead money” on the books. Restructuring done to Suh’s contracts over the years resulted in a $9.7 million cap hit on the roster even though D-bag is sucking in Miami. The two teams ahead of Detroit in dead money: New Orleans and Baltimore…who are a combined 2-8.
Add it all up and you have a recipe for disaster and fans puking on Ford Field seats.
