By now you know the story of how Alfred Morris drives a 1991 Mazda and actually had it refurbished a couple years ago. That wasn’t an act where he was looking for social recognition for being different. That’s why I’m not shocked by Dan Steinberg’s story today in the Washington Post on how Alfred meets with ushers and security guards before games to shoot the breeze. It’s good to hear the regular guy stories that actually humanizes these guys to a point where they’re not fantasy football robots.
