Apparently UAB disbanding their football program was the best thing to ever happen to Jake Ganus. Yeah, leaving his home for three seasons probably sucked, but upgrading to a contender in Georgia had to soften the blow. And if the team upgrade wasn’t enough, Ganus also starts at linebacker — win-win.
In fact, Ganus notched seven tackles in Georgia’s 52-20 blowout victory over South Carolina on Saturday. He celebrated in appropriate fashion — popping the question to his high school sweetheart, Peyton Thomas:
