After teasing a big announcement all week, the New Orleans Pelicans finally put an end to all the mystery today, revealing the return of Mardi Gras themed alternate uniforms.

While we may not be that excited about them (not a flattering combination of colors, if you ask us), the Pelicans really pulled out all the stops for this big ceremony. All the big players came out to model them: Anthony Davis, Ryan Anderson, Jrue Holiday, etc.
Oh, and you can’t say “Pelicans” and “Mardi Gras” without everyone’s favorite seasonal mascot making an appearance — KING CAKE BABY!!!!
