Suffice it to say, there have been a number of tennis racquet fatalities at this year’s U.S. Open. It’s nothing out of the ordinary since pretty much everyone does it, but Switzerland’s Stan Wawrinka has been on a roll of late.
During his third round match against Ruben Bemelmans, Wawrinka displayed his thoroughness in the act, smashing the racquet and breaking it over his knee for good measure:
