By now you’ve seen the Cris Carter “Get A Fall Guy” speech to rookies at the 2014 NFC Rookie Symposium where he pulls Teddy Bridgewater onto the stage and tells Teddy the reasons why NFL guys need a Fall Guy. Cris makes it very clear to these rookies that they need someone from their crew to take the blame because if a guy like Teddy goes down, the entire financial system in place to support the crew will be taken out. It seems like Cris is talking about a DUI, weed or gun scenario.
This is pretty basic advice that just needs to be reiterated because these meatheads forget things between bench reps.
Of course a bunch of white blogger nerds got offended that some NFL HOFer would be telling rookies how to get around police situations. Guess how the NSFW Black Dudes reacted to Carter’s advice. They either loved it or thought he was a moron for saying while cameras were rolling. It’s not that the BDs thought it was wrong, they just want Cris to be more careful.
Look, Cris is just telling these morons to be careful out there with those hundred of thousands these guys are about to make in the League. It’s sound advice. It just came off the wrong way. No harm.
