Too many times we see streakers at sporting events have their way with out-of-shape security guards. It’s really the ultimate insult to stadium staffers that these drunken hooligans think they can just step foot on the most pristine grass and juke people out β€” or as we saw with one Reds fan last month, actually get away.

But Georgia Dome security will be having none of that this season. In preparation for tonight’s Falcons preseason home opener against the Titans, security went through their own pre-game walkthrough of chasing down a fake fan (via Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean):

First time I've seen this: Security officials at Georgia Dome are practicing corralling a fan storming the field

Perhaps they should also experiment with different group-tackling formations?

Update: They caught the fake runner.

This is what a successful capture looks like …
