Savage Nick Kyrgios Tells Stanislas Wawrinka That Thanasi Kokkinakis Banged His Girlfriend

Australian tennis player Nick Kyrgios lived up to his billing as tennis’ bad boy Wednesday night, swinging way below the belt on his opponent, Stanislas Wawrinka, at the second round of the Montreal Masters Tournament.

After dropping the first set tiebreaker to Wawrinka, Kyrgios walked up to the reigning French Open champion and told him, “(Thanasi) Kokkinakis banged your girlfriend, sorry to tell you that mate.”

The woman at the center of this is 19-year-old tennis player Donna Vekic, who has been linked to both Wawrinka and Kokkinakis. Of course, the weird part surrounding the Wawrinka-Vekic angle is that Stan, 30, allegedly rebounded with a teen after divorcing his model wife.

As for the match, let’s just say that the result might encourage Kyrgios to pull similar stunts in the future. He went on to take the second set 6-3, and ultimately won after Wawrinka retired with a back injury in the third set.
