People love to fret about the dangers of Tal’s Hill out in Houston, when in reality outfielders don’t have to deal with it that often. Sure, it’s stupid and just a little bit worrisome, but it’s nothing compared to the dugout mounds at AT&T Park. Outfielders having to navigate little mounds while running full speed? Come on.
Astros outfielder Evan Gattis knows what we’re talking about. He wiped out big time Tuesday night after stumbling over a mound while tracking down a pop fly:
