Texans defensive tackle Vince Wilfork is 325 pounds of man, as one poor Redskins center found out this past weekend. But while we’re used to seeing Vince overpower guys in the trenches, there’s a lot more to the big man than just football (and barbecue) — like his surprising prowess on the basketball court.
As you can see in the HBO “Hard Knocks” teaser above, Vince has some game on the hardwood. He starts off a little slow, bricking shots like Philip Seymour Hoffman in Along Came Polly, but heats up and channels “Air” Wilfork to rain threes all over the competition.
Honestly, if the whole season of “Hard Knocks” was Vince bulldozing lesser human beings in the paint, that would be enough for me.
