Remember Josh Childress? As a Hawks fan, I do, he was the 6th pick in the 2004 draft and supposed to save the franchise after being a McDonald’s All American and a superstar at Stanford. I didn’t exactly work out and he never lived up to the hype. After his contract with the Hawks ended, he decided he would try and start a new trend and left the NBA for Greece. He ended up coming back, but wasn’t any better and has made a career for himself playing over seas. Which proves you can still have a dope crib in California as a pro basketball player even if you’re not playing in the NBA.
