On July 31, fans at Great American Ball Park were witness to strongman Sean McCarthy’s historic Guinness World Record attempt for distance washing machine toss.
The record had been held by Lithuania’s Zydrunas Savickas, who tossed a washing machine 13”6.6’ in Italy. But Sean wasn’t intimidated by that number at all, telling WCPO Cincinnati, “On the 31st, I’m going to whip him.”
And folks, that’s just what Sean did, logging a ridiculous 15″9′ throw after the Reds lost to the Pirates:
