It’s not everyday you come across a tailgate vehicle that openly throws shade at the rest of your team’s division, but leave it to some Iowa fans to do so with this 1983 Chevy Travelmaster. Written across the side is “Bullies of the Big 10,” which definitely doesn’t describe the past few seasons of Iowa football, but hey, it’s homerific and awesome.
The seller is looking to land $3,100 for “The Butterstick,” but don’t be fooled by the reasonable sticker price — it needs a new engine!
Details from the seller:
- Seats 12 on vinyl boat seats, lots of storage throughout
- Wood floors and windows through main cabin, table folds to bed
- Sink, fridge, microwave, tv, dvd, CD stereo (inside and outside speakers)
- Bathroom with toilet and sink
- LP heater, Roof AC, 2 roof vents
- Kohler Generator
- Hitch mount 2 burner Freedom Grill included
- New battery, alternator, front brakes
- Engine needs rebuilt / replaced
There’s no bigger red flag than “engine needs to be rebuilt.” All the perks of cool graphics, a clean interior and bathroom are immediately canceled out. So unless you know someone who can fix this baby up, it’s best to leave The Butterstick to some schmuck who wants a project.
