It wasn’t been a great day on the mound for Bartolo Colon. In 4 1/3 innings of work, he gave up six runs on eight hits, which is pretty much death when you’re relying on the inept Mets offense for support.
However, if you ask us the loss will be worth it. Why? BECAUSE BIG BART LOGGED HIS FIFTH HIT!

Textbook hitting right there folks, taking it the other way like a professional.
And in case you were wondering, Bartolo is now just one hit shy of tying his career high of six hits in a season — a feat he accomplished back in 2002.
Just got to witness, in person, a hit by Bartolo Colon. Today I am truly #blessed pic.twitter.com/qJrEwxdyTI
