Phillies/Flyers Fan Has Robbed 2 Banks In 3 Days And Is Still On The Loose

We have another sports fan bank robber on the loose, this time from Philly. We post a lot of bank robbers here on BC and it’s hilarious to me how many are wearing gear from their favorite team. I guess bank robbing and sports fandom go hand in hand or something? I’ll never understand why these guys don’t at least wear a mask when they rob places. Do they not know they’re on camera? The first thing I would do if I was going to rob a bank would buy a ski mask, but I’m no criminal so what do I know?

This guy is not only a perp from the robbery this morning, but he’s also a suspect for a robbery on Wednesday. That time rocking his Flyers hat.

Fox 29 Philadelphia has more details:

Philadelphia Police and the FBI have now released photos of the suspect involved in a robbery in Old City early Friday morning.

The robbery occurred at the TD Bank branch located at 399 Market Street just before 8:00 a.m.

Investigators say the male suspect entered the bank and presented a threatening demand note to the teller. The suspect was able to obtain an undisclosed amount of cash, which he then placed into a dark colored shoulder bag before fleeing the bank on foot in an unknown direction.

Police believe this suspect is the same man who robbed a TD Bank at 111 South 11th Street on Wednesday at 6:45 p.m.

He has been described as a white male in his early 30’s standing six feet tall with a beard and mustache. He was last seen wearing a blue collared long sleeve shirt, and retro Phillies logo baseball hat.

Authorities consider the suspect armed and dangerous.

All he needs to do is rob one more bank wearing an Eagles hat and he’ll complete the trifecta! And no, I didn’t forget about the Sixers — that franchise doesn’t even deserve to have a hat worn during a bank robbery. The Phillies are closing in on that territory too.

Here’s another picture in case you live in Philly and have seen this guy. He’s probably just a miserable sports fan who just needed some excitement in his life because his team’s blow.
