Looking for the best Iowa State Cyclones tailgate trailer ever? According to some guy in Ames, this 1975 Mallard Goldeneye camper is it. The seller is asking for $2,250 though he admittedly states, “it could use some TLC.” If you ask us, that sounds like ammunition to use to negotiate the price down.
Information from the seller:
Travel trailer that we did restoration on for tailgating. We haven’t used it or moved it for two seasons so I’m sure it could use some TLC.
It was featured in the 2011 Juice tailgating issue as the “Best. Tailgate. Ever”. I still probably have some of the original Juice publications.
TV’s not included, but he TV mounts and interior speakers will stay.
As is, including whatever is in the drawers/cupboards/etc.
I vacuumed it out, but didn’t do much more cleaning than that.
As you can see from the pictures below, the interior is actually quite nice and it sounds like all of the Cyclones gear inside will be included. All you really need to do is bring your own TV and have your party chip in for gas on gameday. It’s only fair considering towing this thing will wreak havoc on your gas mileage.
