Suffice it to say, today isn’t the best day to be a St. Louis Cardinals fan. All of that annoying, sustained success throughout the years has officially come into question with allegations of hacking into the Astros’ database. However, Cardinals fans can opt to numb the pain with some memorabilia shopping, and there’s no better option than this bright ride 1989 Mercedes-Benz 560 SL originally owned by outfielder Vince Coleman.
Information from the seller:
Up for sale is former MLBs Cardinals player Vince Coleman’s 1989 Mercedes-Benz 560SL. He is the original and sole owner of this beautiful classic. Vince Coleman is best known for his years with the St. Louis Cardinals. He played from 1985 to 1997. The SL is a one owner California car that shows beautiful inside and out. With just 47725 original miles the SL has no mechanic or cosmetic issues. It comes in signal red with palomino leather interior. The original signal red paint is still lustrous and the leather seats are still soft and supple. Finished with a chocolate brown soft top the car shows stunning. A matching hard top is also included. The MB has no heavy scratches and you can tell that it was always well taken care of. The overall condition is above average considering age and miles and it shows only minimal signs of wear. You will have a hard time finding any imperfections, if any.
I personally could not think of a better car for a Cardinals fan to roll around in while boasting signs like this:
