Hey Matt Pittman, how’d your face get busted up this weekend? Oh, your were arrested for doing donuts on the local golf course? What an asshole move, bro. Not only is your face beat, but you did $100k in damage to the Aston Oaks golf course and the owner isn’t cool with that, bro.
Drew Macke said he was alerted to the mess early Sunday morning when a golfer spotted the damage. Part of the green on hole 15 was torn up and a large section of the fairway on hold 16 was also damaged.
Grounds workers were already making repairs to the green, but the fairway will take longer to repair. Macke has new sod on order to replace the entire fairway.
The good news is that the course is open and players are just playing through the damage. I assume you get a courtesy lie if your 5-wood lands in a SUV rut.
Of course you want to know how this all ended, right? Pittman drove his 2002 Ford Explorer into a creek on the course. This all happened around 1 a.m. Cops later found Matt at his house looking like he just drove his Explorer into a creek.
There has to be a secret video of the shenanigans that night. Someone out there must’ve partied with Matt. Let us know.
