I guess Danny the Intern wrote some shit over the weekend about Tampa being a dump in a Jameis Winston post and someone started passing it around town. One thing leads to another and it’s all the rage on Tampa radio, especially @1025TheBone.
Then some guy named @JohnnyBcomedy starts trashing Danny and we have an old fashioned radio vs. blog war between some college kid I can’t get to work an entire weekend vs. some guy who was managing a bar in 1995.
I’m not kidding. This is going on while the Lightning are trying to stay alive in the Stanley Cup. Again, not kidding, a Tampa station actually gave Danny the Intern nearly 10 minutes of air time while the home team trails 1-0 in Game 6.

Analysis:
Solid first effort. I’ll give it a B+.
Came in strong arguing with a guy old enough to be his dad…but things got ugly at the end when Johnny B went with the Super Bowl angle — Dan’s a Falcons fan and lives in Atlanta.
That’s a veteran move from a guy working the 8-11 p.m. shift at a Tampa station called The Bone.
And how funny that Johnny B “may have heard (of BC) in passing.” Calling bullshit on that one. Of course he’s heard of BC.
