The Texas Rangers had some major issues mustering up any sort of offense against the Oakland Athletics today, losing 7-0. Part of the problem was Scott Kazmir, who allowed just three base runners in eight innings, and the other issue was slick-fielding outfielder, Billy Burns.
In the top of the sixth, he robbed Delino DeShields Jr. of extra bases:

Then he struck again in the eight, making a ridiculous catch deep in center field at the expense of Carlos Corporan:

Shockingly, Corporan was a little a pissed:

Oh, and if the defensive gems weren’t enough, he also went 2-3 at the plate with an RBI, run and stolen base.
