Sometimes the web gem just isn’t worth it the glamour and fanfare; just take a look at Brewers’ Hector Gomez.
The Brewers third baseman left it all on the field against the Cardinals today, sacrificing his body as he tried to make a Derek Jeter-esque grab behind third base. As you can see below, his grit led to him going through concussion protocol:

Gomez left the game under his own power and according to the Brewers, he’s okay:
INF Hector Gomez was removed from today's game for precautionary reasons. Examined by a physician. Results were negative for a concussion.
