The NBA Finals between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors are set to kick off Thursday in Oakland, Calif., but if Iman Shumpert had it his way, all the games would take place in Cleveland.
No, it’s not because Shumpert doesn’t want to deal with the hectic Oracle Arena environment — and it isn’t because of the seven-plus hour flight to the Bay Area either. So what exactly is the deal? Shumpert’s reasoning stems from his viewing of The Rock’s latest blockbuster, San Andreas, which has him scared shitless about the massive earthquake potential:
