Eddie Vedder’s final time on Letterman
Here’s last night’s performance. Two things: When did Ed go with suburban dad hair? I get that he’s now 50 and you can’t run around with the kids having hair half way down your back. Just shocked me a little bit. I won’t miss Paul Shaffer always having to be “the band” behind the musical act of the night on Letterman (like last night with Vedder). You might remember 1992 when the Pixies were on and Paul had to play the keyboard during Trompe Le Monde. It’s still embarrassing all these years later.
