Omar Infante Should Probably Chill With the Behind-the Back Flips

Omar Infante is known for being a pretty solid defender at second base. However, the Royals second baseman probably earned himself a spot on SportsCenter’s “Not Top 10” segment Sunday night.
As you can see below, the ambitious Infante attempted to throw out speedy outfielder Anthony Gose in the third inning by attempting a fancy behind-the-back flip. Despite being just a couple feet away from Eric Hosmer, he sailed that baseball big time:

This would end up being costly, as Ian Kinsler eventually singled home Gose to tie the game at 1-1. As all the baseball nerds who endured a rain delay know, the game stayed tied through midnight before … Infante made up for everything with a sacrifice fly in the 10th!
