Stats, popcorn incidents and team success aside, Sacramento Kings guard Nik Stauskas had a pretty solid rookie season. I mean, how often do we come across a Canadian rookie who averages four points a game yet lands a badass nickname like Sauce Castillo? Not often, folks. Not often at all.
And don’t think for a second that just because it’s playoff season Sauce is turning down. Not everyone is a crazy Kobe-type, basketball fiend who needs to watch every second of every game, so I respect Sauce for flying off with his girlfriend, Taylor Anderson, to Mexico for a much needed vacation.
