Chiefs Fan Prank Calls C-Span During Drone Segment

The debate on the use of drones to combat terrorism is obviously a touchy subject, but one that the American people have the right to discuss and debate. C-Span bravely tackled the topic Monday and opened up their phone lines to the cuckoos who either support or oppose the use of drone strikes.
As you can see in the video below, C-Span’s John McArdle was subjected to Pawnee-esque responses to the subject, with one caller referring to the War on Terror as “bull.” Fortunately, things took a turn for the hysterical when one Kansas City Chiefs fan named Gonzo dialed in to drop gibberish and namedrop random Chiefs players:

The full call transcript:

For me, you know really it comes down to the ends do not justify the means. One thing I decided is, you know, innocent Americans, you’ve got Anwar al-Awlaki, who was killed, and then Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, who was injured, really opened my eyes on unnecessary drone usage. I also believe it breaks international law. You know, the charter is clear on what’s allowed, what isn’t. I could cite former UN member Sabby Piscitelli that drone strikes, you know, they do break human rights treaties. And in the end I simply think there are other methods that work better here in the John Dorsey era such as paying Justin Houston or drafting a wideout.

I’m not sure what’s better, former draft bust — and now-WWE signee — Sabby Piscsitelli being a former UN member, or McArdle operating on full autopilot mode as he ignores everything and transitions to the USA Today’s editorial board. I guess it doesn’t matter, it’s all gold.
Sidenote: Kudos to Gonzo for digging up the name of an actual terrorist (al-Awlaki) killed by a drone strike.
(Arrowhead Pride points out a forum called Chiefs Planet is responsible for these shenanigans.)
