Here’s Julio Teheran Attempting to Devour a Baseball

Braves ace Julio Teheran got off to a bit of a rough start against the New York Mets today, surrendering three walks — and three runs — in a 31-pitch first inning.

Daniel Murphy clears the bases with a double, and the Mets jump out to a 3-0 first-inning lead. Julio Teheran had walked the bases loaded.

Obviously frustrated, Teheran did whatever pitcher would do in such a situation. No, not walk around the mound or chat with the catcher and pitching coach, but put the baseball in his mouth!

Let’s just hope Bartolo Colon, who’s pitching for the Mets today, doesn’t get any ideas.
