The Chicago Cubs finally recalled the “It” prospect of the season Thursday night, purchasing the contract of third baseman Kris Bryant. He will bat fourth in the lineup against the Padres today, right after fellow young guns Jorge Soler and Anthony Rizzo.
As you can imagine, Cubs fans are beyond giddy about this — and we are too! Not because we’re pro-Cubs, but because we get to introduce Bryant’s girlfriend, Jessica Delp.
